Hello to everyone,
I am a biochemist, and economist, and I have created along with my team, a line of products that are ZERO EFFECTIVE CARBS, made with natural products and confectionery (thus readily consumable). We have made chocolate, chocolate spread, gummy bears, cookies, bread and a myriad of other products that have zero effective carbs and sugars, and zero of the insulin raising sugar alcohols (mannitol, , taste amazing, and indistinguishable from the sugary filled alternatives. (The serving size for the calculation is 100 grams, so we have roughly 0.2 grams of carbs for 100 grams of product. Thus you could eat 1 kilogram of chocolate and get roughly 2 grams of carbohydrates.
Nutritionally they have the same content as eggs or nuts, and we only use healthy compounds to create the textures with our formulas. We plan to start selling and producing these products "en masse", but I would rather want to know what do you people think about this.
Our ingredient list includes our blend of different nuts (almonds, cashews, hazelnuts and walnuts), specially blended fibrous seeds, eggs, our blend of stevia (that has no bitter aftertaste), gelatin, ascorbic acid, vitamin A, highly refined extra virgin olive oil, cocoa and coconut oil.
Personally my family has struggled with diabetes, and I have stopped eating carbs a long time ago, making daily life horrible from the gustatory perceptive. So, what do you think about this endeavor of ours? What do you suggest? Would you want us to start a campaign? In the future when we establish a company would you be interested in our products? All suggestions and questions are welcome.
P.S Whomever is interested in getting updated on the production(within summer hopefully), and our Indiegogo (within this month), send us an email on: caendicafoods@gmail.com
PPS. This picture shows the nutritional content of the products vs. generic ones. scontent-lhr3-1.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-xta1/v/t34.0-12/11287095_10206728078538580_1258638377_n.jpg?oh=89a92636d357f6610674c85589ba23db&oe=5576D107
