So I'm new to this. I'm 21 and 5'9" I was 200 pounds when I started the ketogenic diet. I've been on it for 13 days and lost 10 pounds. I lost 13, but gained 3 back and have stayed at 190 for about a week. I'm eating what I'm supposed to. I'm pretty sure that I haven't cheated. I've been eating all approved things. I bought the ketosticks to test my ketones and this morning it showed up pink. So I guess I have done something wrong, I'm just not sure what? Am I already plateauing? I'm not exactly sure what I'm doing wrong. I don't drink enough water. I know I should try to drink a lot more water. Could that be the culprit? Too much cheese, butter, bacon, heavy whipping cream, sour cream? I got an iced coffee from Starbucks worth sugar free syrup. Could it have been that? Thank you for any help!

If you stopped losing I would count calories and make sure you are at a deficit. Also, check your protein. If that's too high is converted to glucose which can kick you out of ketosis.
