Hi,
I have just started the Keto diet and am into my second day! I am hoping to get some advice and some reassurance that I am following it the right away!! I am not really calorie counting at this stage. To give you an idea of my day -
- breakfast - coffee with a splash of milk and stevia.
- Lunch - left over keto dinner (chicken and broccoli casserole with cheese, thick cream and sour cream) or an omelette
- Dinner - main meal so will follow keto recipes. Tonight mince meat with cauliflower rice.
I Try not to eat anything after 9pm up to lunch around 12.30pm.
Drinks are limited to tea, coffee and water.
Does the above plan look correct? I intend to follow this for at least 6 weeks. Any advice will be great!!
I also try and avoid snacking, but I got so hungry so I got cheddar cheese and pickles to snack on!! Any other suggestions, especially as I have a sweet tooth?!

How are you doing? I am also very new to Keto, been working on it approximately 3 wks. I'm having trouble balancing my macros and some days I seem to get symptoms of low blood sugar -- shaky, mild headache and feeling I must stuff something -- anything -- into my mouth. I'm hoping to get some feedback here, but it doesn't look like much dialogue. Do you feel you've been helped? Are there other boards that are more active?

Hi, I’m new to this concept. I’m in the process of setting up my panty and laying in protiens for the freezer. I still need to clean out my non-Keto foods from my kitchen, but I want to be already to go before I toss it. My husband is also into learning the Keto lifestyle, so that’s awesome too!
I have two books so far, ‘The Ultimate Keto Diet Guide and 100 Recipes’ by Elizabeth Jane, and ‘Keto Flavors’ by the same author. I have also book marked a few sites that describe pantry items, shopping lists, essentials items, etc.
Trying to get all my ducks in row so any pro-tips from those of you that have already conquered the getting started phase is really appreciated! I’m all ears👂!
