So 2 weeks in and question - 160 pound female, walks only, 35% body fat. Looking to lose weight and fat. Marcros set at 20c/61p/101f with 1236 calories. Lots of ketones happening and never hungry - down 3.5 pounds in 2 weeks. Wondering if fat should be reduced by 30%, allowing this to be replaced by body fat instead of added fat? I read this somewhere. Any thoughts ?

No, if you're seeing success you stick with what works. If you have any doubts use one of the online keto calculators ... in fact, you should do that anyway. Your calories look awfully low -- remember, keto is about macros, not caloric restriction -- and I don't think 60 g. of protein for an adult is enough, even if you have a low activity lifestyle.
Think of it another way, if you drop your consumed fat levels you'll have to make up the macros somewhere else, right? So what would you do, raise your carbs or your protein? Either way you're no longer eating keto.

This is a great forum and question, however personally, I continue to follow a ketogenic diet and just go by how my body feels. I eat ONLY when hungry and keep my carbs below 20g per day. I don’t have time or want to stress over macros. I have had every symptom of the Keto flu within two weeks of beginnings this new lifestyle of eating. Today’s my 25th day and I have lost a total of 16 pounds. I’m eating low carb, high fat, and moderate protein foods and feel full 100% of the time after consuming a small amount of food, which normally I would eat enough for two people or more LOL. The way I am going about it works for ME. My first week, I lost 11 pounds of water weight easily. I’d suggest focusing less on macros and solely listening to your body. It’s very difficult for me to eat out of bordem now and I have to literally force myself to eat now!
