So, anybody watch any football over the weekend? Amazing games all around. Funny too, because last weekend, scoring was very low in all 4 games. During the wildcard weekend, no team scored more than 24 points. This past weekend, no team scored less than 28 points.
All I can say now is: NINERS!

I've yet to see that, maybe by Saturday I will. I usually enjoy QT flicks. My boss at work is raving about it.

inglourious basterds is one of my favourite movies, and i'd say django is on par with it.
by the way, i'm waiting for dinner to cook and i'm so damn hungry. i have shepherd's pie, but with mashed cauliflower on top. mmmmmm.

good luck with lifting! and you will DEFINITELY look different in august. it's nice that you are incorporating exercise, being fit always looks nicer than being "skinny fat".
and i do graphic design mostly. last year i was an advertising designer and this year i'm a layout director (both at the same newspaper). and both were contract positions...which i can always renew, but you kinda get all that you can out of the job after a year. so i'm applying for the editor in chief position.

I've loved fooling around in Photoshop since high school, and have been considering college lately. I'd love to get in to graphic design. Any tips? (Aside from practice, practice, practice of course )

the field is so damn competitive, so i really lucked out getting that position. just try to get your foot in the door somewhere and work your way up. i don't know if these exist, but it would be helpful if you found a graphic design program that offered a co-op where you would spend one semester every school year working at an internship/placement that the school placed you in. alternatively, instead of getting a full degree/diploma, many colleges/universities will offer "continuing education" courses in the adobe suites. so it would basically be a class you could go to once a week for a couple hours. i did continuing education courses in photoshop, illustrator and indesign on top of my degree, and i think that definitely boosted my resume.

Finally made some progress after 3 months of stalling due to only being 90% strict. I seriously think if we just eliminated Oct 31 thru Dec 25 on the calendar, no one would be obese or overweight

Thanks L6S! I'm also in my work's "10 in 10 Challenge" which is a motivating factor as well. It just started this week, and the object is to lose 10lbs in 10 weeks. Last year I did 25. This year I am aiming for 17. If I do 20, I'll be stoked.
