Hi all,
I'm very new to this.
I am keeping my net carbs below 30 g each day, but some days I am eating 2,500 even 3,000 calories. I am 5'5", female, and 180 pounds looking to lose weight. I also exercise (T25) for 25 minutes everyday. I started about 5 days ago. The scale is staying pretty much at right below 180 or above, with no consistent movement yet.
Am I doing things right for weight loss and perhaps the scale isn't moving because I'm working out?
Or is the scale not moving because I should STILL try for a deficit each day on this diet.
Is the point of this diet to be less hungry because of the nature of what we eat but still need a deficit for weight loss? Or, because of ketosis, calorie restriction is not actually needed?
Thank you so much!!
