You're gorgeous! ^_^ I'm worried my skin is going to be horribly flappy by the time I'm done I haven't seen any shirtless before/afters of anyone with stretch marks like mine. I'm working out to try to compensate, I just hope it works. Did you exercise much? If so, could you tell if that had any affect on your skin? I don't see any stretch marks on you, but I'm still curious.

thank you my skin is definitely weird, though only when i feel it. i don't think it "looks" bad. it basically feels really stretchy and soft and i can pull it far away from my body . the skin on my inner thighs and in my armpits feels like pizza dough. i honestly have TONS of stretch marks. at this point they are all white though. i have them all over my upper arms and down my butt, thighs and calves and ONE on a boob (weird). they seem to only be extremely noticeable in natural sunlight. i think they aren't noticeable because the pics are small. i also have a bunch of cellulite on my butt and thighs as well that you can't totally see. i think i just have good lighting in that section of my apartment. my exercise during that time was either biking or walking to and from work every day and/or everywhere else i could. i'd lift weights and do ab exercises on and off throughout the whole time. i wouldn't say i had any sort of strict schedule and i don't think i did it often enough for it to help. i think that in time the skin will improve more and more.

You look fantastic! You're rocking your wardrobe, too. It's so encouraging seeing final results of someone so close to my height (I'm 5'2"). Totally inspiring!

I'm thinking anywhere between 110-120lbs, whichever looks and feels best. Most people (my mother especially) think that's too low, but it's the right area for my height, so!
That said, I don't wanna look too skinny, and since I've never been that low (except maybe when I was like... 12), I have no idea what I'm even going to look like. It's so exciting heh

That chart says 108-121 for small frame 5'2". That works, anywhere around there I think will be good!

Love your style... And story is so inspiring. I started at 180 and now 170. Been on keto about a month. I love it but I am also impatient... My goal is 125. I figure since this is a lifestyle change, I need to learn to wait for the good stuff.. Have you had any difficulties with patience? Ps I'm trying to upload pics but I'm on an iPad so it's not quite working yet. Soon though

i was just happy that i was getting smaller, i didn't really have any specific time line planned to lose the weight.

haha, thanks! i think i did squats maybe twice in that entire time...i'd love to do them more often but having a gym membership isn't in my budget unfortunately. i did do a lot of ab exercises that would have probably strengthened my glutes. lots of regular/reverse crunches and oblique twists. i also biked around a good amount when the weather was nice, and my bike is fixed gear in a city full of hills. i honestly have no idea why my butt looks a bit nicer though. maybe i just had a good flex in that picture

ladysixstring, great post and incredible results, good for you!
One thing I read either in this post or another (hobbies post?) is that you're really into fashion, the one thing that is unfortunately so true is that fat people just don't look fashionable no matter how fashionable the clothing is. My skinny friend has made that point to me a lot of times and if it wasn't a good friend, I would have punched him. But it's so true. So being thin now it must be such a joy to wear a new outfit, so congratulations on that.
