Just started the keto diet a month ago. I revamped my diet and managed my macros pretty well. But I guess I went hog wild and ignored calories. So I'm keeping my proportions to:
70-75% Fat 20ish% Protein 5-10% Carbs
I am also doing HIIT elliptical exercise daily.
But I seem to be gaining rather than losing. And I'm VERY discouraged. After posting on Bodybuilding.com I was told, calories, calories, calories. So would you guys who are old-hat give me some pointers? I suppose I need to observe the above macros and keep intake to 1500 calories/day. Does that sound appropriate?
Thanks for any help... I'm kinda in the dumps at this point.
